Bombino

Group Bombino is a music group of Agadez, Niger led by Tuareg guitarist Omara Moctar and including some of the members of their associates Group Inerane.

Their music consists of guitar-based political protest songs of the Tuareg people's rebellion against the governments of Niger and Mali.

Currently, Bombino performs and records under his own name, and has a new album, Agadez, out on Cumbancha Discovery.

Uzun bir ara vermek durumunda kaldigim bloga ve bilimum sosyal hayata tekrar donus yapiyorum. Bu 'isolation' surecinde uzun suren yurtdisi ve yurtici maceralarim nedeniyle ayri kaldigim ve buyuk capta unuttugum Istanbul hayatina tekrardan uyum saglamaya calistim. Dile kolay 6 yil boyunca Istanbul'a hep bir turist gibi ugruyordum. Ama artik burada bir evim var ve Istanbul icinde calismaya basliyorum.

Bu uzun arada bir yandan is ve ozel hayatimi tekrar duzenlerken bir yandan da cokca muzik dinledim. Artik yilin kalan 6 ayinda kendimi takipcilerime affettirmeye calisacagim ne yapayim :)

Blogumda ethnic, worldbeat, roots, folk, indie tarzinda kulagimda bir delta time period dan daha uzun sure tingirdayan albumleri ve muzisyenleri anlatmaya devam edecegim.

Your Hand In Mine

“Your Hand In Mine” are two friends from Thessaloniki (Greece). Manos plays wurlitzer piano, melodica, toy piano, ukulele, accordion and does the programming, while George plays some guitar shaped toy synth, mandolin, zither, glockenspiel and hits random objects in his rythmic kit. The project emerged from members of the postrock band “Shortcat” in late 2006, giving them the opportunity to express their love to acoustic instruments, french folk songs and street musicians.
With a constantly growing collection of custom-toy instruments and machines, “Your Hand In Mine” act as live-looping based duet, willing to present a new-romantic, deeply personal sense of chamber music.
